Obituary:
Lynette Seeber 84 of Townsend passed away May 8 2009 at Nu-Roc Nursing Home. Lynette was born in Townsend WI. October 19, 1924 to William and Ione (Krake) Stibbe.
Lynette was born one of three girls in her family. Her childhood was very happy. After graduating from high school she began working in Detroit Mich. She wasn’t happy there.
During Christmas of 1944,she journeyed to Racine to spend the holidays with her family. This turned out to be a momentous choice as it was at church on Christmas Eve. That she met Cliff. They were married a year and a half later April 20 1946, he preceded her in death May 1979.Their bond was strong to begin with but strengthened with each passing year .Lynette worked at the Wabeno School as a baker and cook from 1979 to 1994.
Cliff and Lynette bought a farm in Townsend, where they settled down for good. Their union was blessed them with two daughters and one son.
Even though farming and raising a family kept her busy, she was very active in her community and church. She belonged to many organization, St. John Ladies Aid & Mission Sewing, American Legion Aux. Post 44, Wabeno Senior Citizens and the Freedom Weasel Social Club. Lynette also enjoyed many hobbies. She was very proficient at all needlework,knitting and crafts. Lynette enjoyed games, cards and puzzles. Before Cliff died their favorite passion was Wabeno High School sporting events They were fixtures in the bleachers and have been honored by the school twice for their outstanding attendance and support.
Lynette is survived by two daughters:
Lynette (Steve) Shaffer of Townsend
Juanita (Dean) Lundwall of Townsend
And one son :
Bill ( Karen ) Seeber also of Townsend
6 grandsons :
Stephen ( Cara) Shaffer
Craig ( Sue) Shaffer
Kevin ( Melissa) Shaffer
Rob ( Kim) Seeber
Dave (Erin) Seeber
Duane Lundwall
And 10 great- grandchildren

Visitation will be held May 11, 2009 at St. John Lutheran Church Townsend from 4 P.M. until 7 P.M. and also May 12 2009 at 10 A.M. until time of service at 11 A.M. With the Rev. Steve Vaudt officiating . Burial will follow at Forest Home Cemetery in Townsend .The Weber-Hill Funeral Home Wabeno is honored to serve the family.
