Name: Deloris Shelhammer Date: January 4th, 1924 - July 14th, 2009 Obituary: Deloris M. “Dee” Shelhammer, age 85, passed away on July 14, 2009 at Nu-Roc Community Health Care Center, Blackwell, Wisconsin. Dee was born January 4, 1924 in Laona, WI the daughter of the late Frank and Emma (Krueger) Goodchild.. Dee graduated from Wabeno High School. She later married Lewis Shelhammer and together they raised a daughter and son. Dee enjoyed staying at home and taking care of her family. She enjoyed her visits with Lewie, especially on nice days when they could go outside or for short rides. Before going to Nu-Roc Dee liked to take walks, collecting rocks, needlework and shopping. She enjoyed big band and country music, watching mysteries or ice skating on TV, reading and attending church services. Dee is survived by her husband, Lewie, daughter, Ellen (Wally) Kelm, Chippewa Falls and son, Jim (Becky) Shelhammer, Wabeno; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren Dee was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters There will be a private service held at a later date.
