Carol went to rest with our Father in Heaven on Friday, Aug. 8th, 2009 after battling a very aggressive breast cancer. She was born at the crack of dawn, on Christmas day, on Range Line Road in Crandon, WI. She graduated from Crandon High School in 1974 and during that same year met the love of her life at a dance in that same school. She married Chuck Schuett on February 27th, 1976. They resided in Elcho, where Chuck’s family was from. She lived a fulfilled 52 years. She had various occupations in her life, but spent most of her time doing what was most important to her, taking care of her family. Fame or fortune could not have fulfilled her life the way her children and grandchildren did. Carol spent a lot of time in her garden and canned all of the vegetables and any wild game her providing husband brought home. She enjoyed picking berries, baking, sewing, and spoiling her grandchildren. Carol was a wonderful wife, terrific mother, and an all around beautiful person. She was just as much a best friend to her children as she was their mother. She taught them that family is more important than anything else. She was a servant to all she met and everyone was better for knowing her. She is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Whitford (Betty Ball), and a sister, Mary, who lived only 8 months. Carol is survived by her husband, Charles (Chuck) James Schuett Sr., Children: Danielle (Jade) Crawford, Charlie J. (Mindi) Schuett, and Kasey Schuett. Six grandchildren: Levi, Jaida, and Sabreya Crawford; Sadi, Seth, and Jaxon Schuett. Three brothers: Rick (Faye) Ball, Tom (Karen) Ball, Dennis (Carolyn) Ball, and sister, Sara Ball. Carol has a lot of relatives and friends that will miss her greatly. She will always be remembered as our Christmas Carol. A Service will be held at the Northwoods Recreation Center at 100 N. Prospect Avenue, Crandon, on Saturday, September 5th @ 11AM. The family invites you to participate in the service with any memories you’d like to share. Come join us to celebrate the life of a wonderful woman. Weber-Hill Funeral Home, Crandon assisted the family with the arrangements. Online condolences at www.weberhillfuneralhome.com
