Name: Anton "Tony" Kerscher Date: July 13th, 1944 - October 6th, 2009 Obituary: Anton "Tony" S. Kerscher, age 65, of Lakewood, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at the Langlade Memorial Hospital, Antigo. He was born July 13, 1944 in Manitowoc, WI to the late Anton and Madeline (Schueler) Kerscher. Tony married Jean (Williams) August 23, 1965 in Oconto and remarried her on Ocotber 2, 1965 at St. John the Baptist, Green Bay. He enjoyed spending the winters in Quartzsite, AZ, but most of all enjoyed playing games, especially ?31?, with his grandchildren. Tony would make sure he was home so he could spend time with his grandchildren. Jean and him owned and operated Imperial Manufacturing, Lakewood, known through the industry as the ?Pewter Man?. Tony will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by wife of 44 years, Jean Daughter: Debbie (Mike) Fronek, Wabeno Sons: T.J. (Wendy) Kerscher, Lakewood Steve (Dawn) Kerscher, Green Bay Grandchildren: Breanna, Brandon, Kaitlyn and Kristen Fronek, T.J. ?Little Tony? , Michael, Gina and Rebecca Kerscher. Sisters: Kathryn Treaster, Indaina Joan Chizek, Marabelle, WI Further survived by other family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents; Anton and Madeline and brother, Michael Visitation will be on Friday, October 9 from 5-8:00 p.m. at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Lakewood and again on Saturday, October 10 from 9-9:45 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Father Dave Schmidt officiating.
