Name: Wanda Pence Date: October 23rd, 1930 - December 22nd, 2009 Obituary: Wanda V. Pence, age 79, of Rhinelander, passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rhinelander on Tuesday, December 22, 2009. Wanda was born October 23, 1930 at Crandon the daughter of the late George & Mona (Logan) Campbell. She attended and graduated from Crandon High School. After high school in 1949 Wanda married Don Pence in Montana. He preceded her in death in 1971 following a tragic car accident. Wanda spent most of her life in the Crandon and Rhinelander area. She is survived by: Daughters: Peggy (Bruce) Hoormann, Oshkosh Kathy (Shelly Shewmake) Kurtz, Kenosha Kim (Doug) Zwiscenberger, Spokane, WA Sons: Dan (Lee) Pence, Wisconsin Rapids Wayne (Kathy) Pence, Townsend David (Robin) Pence, Trevor, WI Mark Pence, Post Falls, ID Sister: Margie Richards, Rhinelander Brother-in-law: Lyle Sheldon, Crandon Sister-in-law: Betty Campbell, Kellogg, ID Twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren In addition to her husband, Donald she is also preceded in death by a son, Gary; two sisters and two brothers. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 28 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the Weber-Hill Funeral Home, Crandon. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon with Pastor Don Dewing officiating. Interment will be at the Nashville Town Cemetery.
