Ruth's parents Dora Lou (Miller) Mullins and Edward Mullins moved to Crandon, WI from Kentucky before her birth on April 14, 1918. Ruth was married in1944 to George W. Strong, who preceded her in death in 1958. She is survived by one sister, Mildred (Mullins) Harris, Crandon, WI. Four children; Quentin (Cheri) Strong, Lily; Carol (Joel) King, Appleton; Colleen (Ralph)Madison, Appleton; Kelly (Marge) Strong, Roscholt; ten grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Dora Lou & Edward and her husband, George she is also preceded in death by her siblings, Deward (Zelmer) Mullins, Earl (Grace) Mullins, Kathleen (George) Gilbert, Mina (Charles) Kemp and brother-in-law, Volney Harris. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 1 from 10:00 a.m – 12:00 noon at Praise Chapel Community Church, Crandon. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon with Pastor Bill Farr officiating.
