Lee, age 97, of Sheboygan, formerly of Argonne, WI passed away Monday, May 24, 2010 at Sunny Ridge Nursing Home, Sheboygan. Shirley was born in Crandon, WI on March 29, 1913 the daughter of the late Benjamin and Jesse (Day) Foster. Shirley graduated from Argonne High School in 1931 a class with only thirteen class members. On June 25, 1934 at Crystal Falls, Michigan she married Arthur Lee. He preceded her in death on December 12, 1966. Through life Shirley worked as a homemaker and seamstress. She also ran a foster home in Oshkosh for 13 years. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting, traveling and playing cards. She is survived by: Daughters: Judy Kuehl, Glen Beulah, WI Linda Moody, Berrien Springs, MI Kathy (Paul) Olm, Glen Beulah, WI Sons: Jim ( Ruthie) Lee, Cedarburg Robert (Sue) Lee, Appleton Gary (Ginny) Lee, Oshkosh Sixteen Grandchildren, Twenty-Four Great Grandchildren and Five Great Great Grandchildren In addition to her husband, Arthur she is also preceded in death by a son, Richard; 2 granddaughters, 1 great grandson, 3 sisters, Monnie, Mary and Gladys; and special friend, Russell Samz. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 27 from 11:00 a.m until 12:45 p.m at the Weber-Hill Funeral Home, Crandon. Funeral mass with follow at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Crandon with Father Ralph Gillis officiating. Interment will be at Crandon Lakeside Cemetery.
